Warrior Racing 8/05

I took up sailing recently. I love the ocean, so it's really just another excuse for me to be out and enjoying the water. On Friday evenings, the St. Petersburg Yacht Club holds a race that starts about two hours before sunset. I was lucky to have been invited to sail on Warrior the past few races so last week I brought my camera to catch some of the action in that great summer evening light. The crew on Warrior is an awesome bunch of people and a talented group of sailors. Between their friendly jabs at one another and watching them sail the boat, I had a great time shooting the race.
